On April 23, 2026, the fifth anniversary of the passing of Milva will be commemorated – an icon of music and performance who, with her deep and powerful voice and her inimitable interpretive sensitivity, left a lasting mark on the history of European song and theatre.

For the occasion, the Fondazione Insula Felix ETS of Milva and Martina Corgnati dedicates three evenings – on April 14, 21, and 28 – and an open day on Thursday, April 23, the anniversary of her passing, to the cherished memory of the singer.

On Tuesday, April 14, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the exhibition Torino 1962–1965. Omaggio a Milva will open, featuring three important portraits of the singer, two of which are previously unpublished, created by Ezio Gribaudo. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Archivio Gribaudo of Turin and the Accademia of Brera, of which Milva became an honorary member in 1992.
Gribaudo’s works will be presented by art historian Paolo Bolpagni, director of the Fondazione Ragghianti in Lucca, in conversation with Paola Gribaudo and Martina Corgnati. The event is open to the public, and the exhibition will be freely accessible during the opening hours of the Fondazione Insula Felix and its library.

On Tuesday, April 21, at 6:00 pm, an invitation-only event will take place: Italian-Argentine anthropologist and scholar of Argentine tango, Maria Susana Azzi, will discuss the extraordinary collaboration between Milva and Astor Piazzolla, as well as the legendary show El Tango.

On April 23, the anniversary of Milva’s passing, the Foundation and its library will remain open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with continuous hours.

Finally, on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 pm, director, actor, and playwright Walter Mramor (Artisti Associati Gorizia) will present a moving and vivid account of one of Milva’s final productions, La variante di Lüneburg, based on the novel of the same name by Paolo Maurensig (1943–2021), adapted and staged starting in 2007 with music by Valter Sivilotti. Admission is free while seats last, and the event will also be streamed live on Zoom.
