Insula Felix has awarded a scholarship to participate to the LXXI Study Week “Profiles of the eleventh century” organised at Spoleto by the CISAM

Enrico Frosio, PHD candidate at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Brescia, has been awarded a scholarship funded by Insula Felix to promote the participation of young scholars to the Study Weeks organised by the CISAM.

Book presentation: Cibo e cura at CIRCe 2024 conference

As part of the CIRCe 2024 Conference: NEW DIGITAL AND IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES: VALUES, PRACTICES AND CULTURAL AND THERAPEUTIC MEANINGS, Martina Corgnati will speak in the afternoon session on Friday 22nd March presenting the Foundation's first book: Cibo e cura published by Nomos.

Library closed for Easter holidays

The library will be closed from March 28th to April 3th, 2024, we will reopen regularly on Thursday, April 4th.

Conference Nature, culture and traditions: 18th March 10:00-18:00

On March 18th, the Insula Felix Foundation, under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan, will host a conference: Nature, culture and traditions: the cases of India, Africa and Italy compared. The conference will address the theme of the representation of fauna in art and culture, focusing on iconographic traditions and pressing current issues linked to the conservation of the environment and biodiversity in our urbanized areas and rural areas. The conference will last the whole day, from 10:00 to 18:00, with a space for debate and discussion. Participation in person is free.
